The book launch

On September 22nd we will be coming together with Paul Skinner and guests at Daunt Books in Marylebone to celebrate the launch of The Purpose Upgrade: Change your business to save the world. Change the world to save your business.

It is an ambitious title and an ambitious book. We wanted to find a venue that would fit the theme and with Daunt we have found just that. It has an impressive history with the claim of being the first custom-built bookshop (the oldest section of the shop was completed in 1912). It began as an antiquarian bookshop, now specialises in travel books and has continually Upgraded its Purpose over its 110 year existence while maintaining its independence. There are now eight bookshops in the Daunt chain and the company branched out into publishing in 2010. The core of the business continues to be that it provides an incredibly beautiful and welcoming home to book lovers (photo below taken in the shop when visiting to arrange the book launch).
